New York City has its Statue of Liberty, Rio has its statue of Christ the Redeemer, what does Jacksonville have? Well, if you go to downtown Jacksonville in front of the Regency Hyatt hotel on the north bank river front, you will see a life size statue of a runner done by my good friend, and the illustrator of my book, Derby Ulloa. If you don’t live in north Mandarin like I do, you might not know that Sunbeam Road has 2 statues done by local businesses. They are pictured here.
