A reverse mortgage is a loan available only to persons over the age of 62, and is used to release the home equity in the property as one lump sum or in multiple payments. The homeowner’s obligation to repay the loan is deferred until the owner dies, the home is sold, or the owner leaves the home (e.g., into aged care).  While the Reverse Mortgage is not the answer for everybody…it is for many.

 

It is easy to Qualify: 

• Must be 62 or older
• Must have substantial equity (the older a person is, the higher % of their appraised value they will receive).

 

There is NO:

• Credit Qualification
• Income Qualification OR
• Health Qualification
